Kendall Schmidt's Wife Is Going to Be Mica von Turkovich What We Know About Her

Mica von Turkovich will soon be Kendall Schmidt's wife. We may know a lot about the former Big Time Rush member, but it's time to learn more about his fascinating fiancée.

This past June, Kendall Schmidt popped the question to his now-fiancée Mica von Turkovich at Radio City Hall. This venue is where the pair met for the first time at a Big Time Rush concert in 2012.

Sticking to tradition, he got on his knee to ask her if she would spend the rest of her life with him; she gasped with her hand covering her mouth. It was a picture-perfect moment they were sure to share on Instagram later.

Of course, Schmidt didn't leave out his former Big Time Rush band members, who were there to witness the proposal. The whole group, Logan Henderson, Carlos PenaVega, and James Maslow, celebrated the engagement the next day at Madison Square Garden with a band reunion concert.

Not only did they share their excitement in person, but they were over the moon while commenting on a picture of the proposal on Instagram. Maslow expressed his love for both of them while PenaVega quipped that it was about time.

WHO IS MICA VON TURKOVICH?

"I LOVE telling stories. As a young girl, I spent years writing short stories about my imaginary horse Misty and my family's nonexistent animal rescue. In my early twenties, I transitioned to telling stories through acting. The unappealing reality of the entertainment industry ultimately led me back to writing and I couldn’t be happier about it."

Before her current occupations, she worked as a nanny and has one credit as the female lead in the music video "Tequila." Her loved ones, dogs, spending time on the beach, and her fiancé are all of enormous importance to her. The writer's Instagram page is filled up to the brim with pictures of beaches, smiles, dogs, and Schmidt.

In addition, von Turkovich had an extensive curiosity for animals and the natural environment that she wanted to explore more. She hoped to publish books before reaching thirty, launch a successful company, and become a mother.

Aside from her future goals, many of von Turkovich's followers appreciate her for being open and honest about her struggles with mental health, which most people feel are taboo to discuss.

When the pandemic epidemic started in 2020 and authorities advised people to confine themselves and remain inside their houses, von Turkovich felt compelled to express her thoughts on anxiety.

The brilliant writer wrote a long post about how to help children cope with isolation on her blog, Love, Mica, titled "A Letter From a Formerly Anxious Child." She noted that she had been "mentally prepared" for such a situation.

She mentioned several things parents can do for their children, such as helping them comprehend the health situation and being open to questions, offering tools to keep them healthy at home, practicing mindfulness, and getting daily exercise.

She also advised parents to maintain their lines of communication open. Most importantly, von Turkovich emphasized the need for parents and other adults at home to deal with their anxiety before helping the children. Her blog read:

"If you don't take care of your own emotional and physical health you will not be as capable of taking care of anyone else. During this strange time children will be monitoring the adults in their lives for signs of stress to determine how they should be feeling."

For von Turkovich, anxiety is not only a theoretical concept. She said her parents had never brought up any health issues, including avian flu, with her. She said her parents were laid-back, but she claims she is nothing like them.

She recalled playing at a friend's home and seeing the latter's mother packing and stockpiling things. Her friend's mother also said that the illness might become a pandemic.

A child like her couldn't comprehend such a complicated subject. She explained that she had made up situations in her mind. She said that she began to panic, and what was intended to be a pleasant day spent with her friend turned into a mess.

She said she was able to relax once her mother picked her up and patiently explained the situation to her. Von Turkovich said that she had recovered emotional control. She also noted that researching current events could help reduce anxiety.

KENDALL SCHMIDT AND MICA VON TURKOVICH'S LOVE STORY

Schmidt and von Turkovich have been dating for seven years. Earlier this year, the writer took to Instagram to wish her boyfriend a happy 7th anniversary with a picture of them smiling together; the caption read:

"7 years of loving you 💗1 million more por favor."

After the two met in 2012, they became friends, which grew into romance. The couple eventually began their official love story in March 2015 and are raising a dog together named Teagan.

KENDALL SCHMIDT'S CAREER

Schmidt's professional life is just as successful as his personal life. He has been making strides, playing roles in numerous movies and series with 50 credits to his name. He is most well-known for "A.I. Artificial Intelligence," "Big Time Rush," the film, and "CSI: Miami."

Of course, the pop band Big Time Rush could be pinned as his main claim to fame, but it wasn't the first musical group he joined. When Big Time Rush split, he returned to his old band, Heffron Drive, which had already been put together in 2008.

The Nickelodeon series concluded in 2013, and the group split the following year. Schmidt and his bandmates went their separate ways in the entertainment industry.

The sensational band recorded composed of Schmidt, James Maslow, Carlos PenaVega, and Logan Henderson released many successful songs, including "Music Sounds Better with You" and "If I Rule the World." In 2012, they co-produced a film called "Big Time Movie."

Many admirers appreciate the Big Time Rush's kindness, especially Schmidt. Through the Make-A-Wish organization, he was able to travel to Christchurch, New Zealand, to visit a fan named Grace, who was suffering from a brain tumor. He even became her Valentine's Day date.

Schmidt went on to have a successful acting career, featuring in the Nickelodeon TV adaption of "School of Rock." After an eight-year hiatus, Big Time Rush reunited in 2021.

Schmidt said that despite the changes that have transpired over the years, they remain his lifetime closest friends. They were important to him and his fiancée since they were there when he proposed to her.

Overall, Schmidt's personal and professional life continues to skyrocket as he is soon to marry the love of his life while climbing the entertainment business ladder even higher.
